What Do We Do?

Mindful Creation for Clients:

The process of creating with Laser Cutting and 3D Printing in its nature tends to bring with it a significant amount of material waste. Between supports, failed prints and prototypes, 3D Printing has a level of unavoidable waste. Likewise, Laser Cutting often produces small off cuts, which depending on the material can be difficult to reuse in later projects. To combat the unavoidable waste and its environmental impact, we use compostable PLA filaments in our 3D Printing and opt to do Laser Cut tests in sustainably sources wood and recycled cardboard.

Throughout the design process we regularly review the material use and analyze how we can minimize waste for our clients. We assess if the current materials are being used to their best functions as well as if there are more sustainable material options on the market that suite the project better.
